I just found this on the web while searching around today. Looks like it’s rather old but I would still like to reply. First of all thank you for the love. MAD RO works very hard at staying involved with the local hip-hop scene and community as a whole. Right now KTPZ Music Monster and MAGIC 93.1 are both showing a lot of support for MAD RO and we plan to do as much as possible to promote these stations and give support right back. It’s not easy to build a fan base when you’re a local group but when you do it’s something that’s stronger than anything any untouchable National act can ever have. I do my best to let stations know that. See, when you have a huge following for a local group it is way more powerfull than a National act because we are here at your disposal. If 50 cent hits number one on your most requested countdown for Southern Idaho is he going to show up at your onsite at the local teen center? I highly doubt it. Is he going to pass out your fliers to fans at shows and put your stickers on his albums he sells out of hand to your local fans or show up for interviews at any time you’re willing to have him. Probably not. Granted, we’re not on MTV but we have something that they could never touch. Thank you to Magic 93.1 and Music Monster 99.1. We appriciate you more than you will ever know and will continue to work our tails off for you guys. All we ask is for a small opportunity to make the “impossible” happed. PEACE. Arcturus of MAD RO.
