KIOV on the move
Don Day | August 30, 2004KTIK may be getting some competition.
KIOV is currently licensed in Payette — but is moving to Notus.
KIOV says it lost it’s transmitter site in Payette, and could not find adequate ground to build a new one.
The station will stay on 1450 and will operate with 1kw of power. The new location gives KIOV a shot at the Valley.
KIOV.com is getting a makeover.
KIOV-AM is owned by Media Enterprises — with managing partner Milton Erhart. If that name rings a bell, it should — he ran against Dirk Kempthorne in 2002 in the Republican primary.

So what’s happened with KIOV-AM? Their page is really blazé again… do they cover sports? It seems like they were trying to be a good station for a while there.
We are under construction (finally) with the new tower. Wait another two weeks for the change announcements
Good job Dave…
With the new transmitter will KIOV still be received in Ontario,Or.? Will it still cover the CUBS games?
