Hi… my name is…
Don Day | January 13, 2005Some of you know who I am. Others think they know…
I’m Don Day, and my day job is producing the 6pm news for KTVB. My last day at channel 7 is tomorrow. On Sunday I begin a new adventure in Seattle.
So here’s the deal — I would very much like to keep things moving along on this site. If you hear something funny — or know of news, let me know. idahoradio@gmail.com
I’ve had a blast producing this site — and despite its faults, I know some of you enjoy reading it. I’ll be back in town on a fairly frequent basis, and I’m sure I’ll still shoot my mouth off.

Congrats man, Good luck in Seattle!
I’m happy you have a new gig and sad that you may be paying less attention to this site. While it’s certainly understandable that you may have less time to devote to it, I hope you’ll be able to maintain the standard you have set so far. As a former Boise morning show personality, I’ve really enjoyed this site and I sure hope to be able to continue to do so in the future.
well, i’m not a former boise morning show personality….uhm….ok…sometimes i am….and others will say i definitely am…but, nevertheless, i wanted to bid you a fond farewell. this site has always been a good source of info, gossip, speculation, shock, laffs, etc.
i hope you can see that its maintained in some form or fashion. you’ve done a great job….and best of luck in seattle! congratulations!
Hey congrats on the job, and thanx for keeping up such a great web site. Don’t worry even though your leaving I’m sure everyone will still make fun of Smooch…..just kidding….Smooch does an awesome job!!!! In all seriousness though you did a great job and Nibb High Football will ALWAYS RULE!!!!!!
Don,

Good luck on your new job and give the big city Hell…I hope this site does not go away…it provides a service to us all, those in the business, those who used to be in the business and those who would like to be again.
Doug Raper
You all are too kind. I’ll keep my ear to the ground — and I hope you’ll do the same. I’m just an e-mail away.
Good luck in Seattle….is the station you’re going to going to switch to country? Thanks for the site…..
Yes, Northwest Country News.
Hi all, so if you know Don. It won’t take long to make the connection to me. (sorry CB I lied) I spent many years in the radio biz. I have been replying as cannedIam. By the way the answer to # 3 of the trivia quiz is me David Day!!!!! Don, you make a father proud.
Hey there. Nice job on the site. I found this was a good place to check in and keep up on the Boise radio fun. Congrats on your move to Seattle.
Would somebody please pass my email address on to Doug Raper. We worked together in Denver in 1974. Thanks, Ron
Hi,
I just ran across Doug Raper’ s name while checking out your site. If it is the same Doug Raper, we were friends in Twin Falls during his KEEP days with Kelly (Big Kel) Klass, Bill Primrose and the gang. If someone could email me and let me know how to contact him or have him email me, it would be a fun blast from the past hear how he is doing.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
Lisa
