Simultaneous Playing of “We Are The World”
We Are The World is being released on DVD on 2/1, with a portion of proceeds going to help with Tsunami Relief. We are joining in with radio stations from around the world, along with MTV & VH1, to play the song at 10am on Friday, 1/28, the 20th anniversary of the recording of the song. Please join us!!

Why is that a bad idea?
because for starters, it is one of the worst pieces of crap ever recorded.
and that’s reason enough.
Yea, I guess we have a difference of opinion on that. I don’t think that it is the worst pieces of crap ever. I think it is a fabulous song, and it supports a great cause. That’s reason enough to thank God the Tsunami wasn’t here, and to pray for those it did affect.
Yes. It’s a good think the tsunami missed us. Yes it’s for a good cause. And yes we disagree on the song. Perhaps not the worst ever. Just terrible considering those who were involved.
I’m all for the Tsunami benefit — but that song was never good.
is this more global programming from Clear Channel?
Considering Infinity (or at least their parent company Viacom) owns MTV and VH1, I’d have to say this isn’t Clear Channel’s doing
