You guys had me bustin' here in my office at the thought of it all. I wasn't at Mix at the time of the juxtaposition of words but I was recalling Tommy telling me about it and nearly wetting my drawers! I still have a bunch of those HealthSouth kunk stites in my garage... Yeah, like I was even close!

I've never been the Easter bunny but I'm thinking if someone may have had the benefit of being the "J-bird" that would suffice.

For some reason my kids (one too old to participate, other currently 6) absolutely love this event at Ann Morrison. The SCRAMBLE!!!. I always walk out with my child and slowly follow behind them. I don't assist, and I am pretty much watching all of the kids as they push into the same dense candy/egg patches. I would never send them out there alone. I see parents helping themselves, and filling their childrens baskets along side them. Some are overly excited, and are a nuisance to the little ones that are doing their own thing in their alloted time. I'm watching out for the little ones, not myself, and not only my own child. Go, enjoy, be there for our kids. It's their event. One egg or 100 is not the point. Happy Easter!

Ahh Ken, remember when you used to host those nice family oriented events where the nice family oriented announcer tried to say "Stunt Kite Competition" and failed miserably in front of a whole bunch of nice families!

Heehee!

I'm with ya there Ken...I did the one in Pullman for years that was at Reaney (sp) park. HUGE event fo the town and "fun" to do for the first few years...

BUT...same thing...the bitchy parents and the "older" kids who would push the others out of the way and steal eggs from the baskets of the youngin's....the "older" kids were the FREAKING parents...

I'll just buy a bunch of eggs and stuff and put them out at my house....

The parents are the ones who "ruin" events like these....BAN THE PARENTS...ha ha ha ha!!!

let me tell ya, i don't miss working (emceeing) the event! i did it for ten years at the ol' k106...and yeh, it was exciting at first..and i managed to get eggs for my young son, but after awhile i wouldn't even take him down! it got sooooo big and hard to control! the parents...or should i say....SOME parents... could get really nasty when they thought their child didn't get enough eggs...or they knocked down other kids to help theirs...or encouraged their youngun's to pulverize and gather and horde. its become quite the event....and a lot of folks like it....but i'm glad i'm not behind the scenes there anymore. the lost kids...the complaints...the bitchin'....oy!
