Does that mean Emily doesn't fill in as receptionist over at Citadel? That's a tragedy for the entire Treasure Valley.

Yeah, those hotties have lots of other stuff to do in the day...Picking up phones and dealing with the public is way too much for them...

E-Mail is a key way to communicate with people and groups of people about your stations on-air business. Make Up an "X-Rock E-Mail Club" and have people fill out there info for you and then you have a listener submitted database.

Someone doing a little homegrown, intellegent interaction with listeners via the internet is what some companies don't understand. Some people just do it better than others.

Sans, The River...The River's website is actually pretty cool...

At the bottom of each page, make a general PSAS.AT.journal.dot whatever and link them at all the companies websites. Then all you have to do is check the one E-Mail address. Take 30 seconds of your precious air time and PSA your own station and just give the internet contact addresses, on the air to your listeners.

The Fax machine is still the most publicly posted contact most stations have. Kinda Sad...In a Way...

Ray Said..."Why not update your software with spam and virus filters and get out of the 90’s"

The last part of that statement just "rings"...

Yo Big J!...I really popped when you did the splits at the WWE show last Saturday. Byl was correct.

You do look like a Q-Tip. :)

I would have to agree with Big J on the person taking the call being a saint - I assume he means their receptionist...

Listen, first of all we currenlty we only use fax for community events and PSA at this time, and given that the person who took the call is a saint I find it hard to beleive she was rude, more to the point the caller I suspect is the one is hung up...cranky...due to the fact that extra effort would need to be taken to do a "fax"! Sure we should be using e-mail for things like that, but it's not the super receptionist's fault for that, so pick on someone your own size..errrr ego size I mean!
