It’s August and nothing happens this time of year. Entire countries in Europe take the whole month off and in the states everyone shuts their brain off. No one is minding the store. If I were a man of greater ambitions I would be plotting the final stages of my invasion right about now. Norway will be mine. Oh, yes. It will be mine!

My guess is you’ll start getting more news after Labor Day. So sit back, pop open a cold one (and roll one if you are so inclined – I see there’s much talk of that activity over on the “Uhhh” thread), listen to some Steely Dan and wait out these lazy days of August.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve got some hubcaps I need to steal off of a 1997 blue and orange van.
