What would it take?
Don Day | September 1, 2005What would it take for all of the Boise market stations to lay down arms for a day — join together and do a simultaneous radiothon? Broadcast from the mall. Each station could use its own talent — but if every last station joined together for just one day — THOUSANDS could be raised. I wouldn’t be surprised if the total could near $1 million. You all would get major play from the paper — the TV stations — and the governor. Your listeners would love you. But that’s not the point. You (all of you) would directly touch the lives of people who desperately need help.
Each station’s individual effort is great — don’t get me wrong. But something more sweeping would have a heavier impact, and raise more money — quicker. Everyone links arms for the crying baby child abuse roadblock… maybe it’s time to take that to the next level.
Just one day.

Brilliant Idea…So brilliant infact we here in the Magic Valley are doing just this next week. The calls have been made and all the GMs are on board :-)
Can Boise top that?
Thanks for the idea.
It’s a great idea…I will make some calls, if we all do???
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help make this happen!
KISS is ready to work along side anyone to make this work.
Put this in motion and we’ll be ready.
