Well, it finally happened. I am sorry to hear that the show was dismantled. But then again, I have no remorse for anyone. I was pushed out for being a team player. I was just playing for my family, not Citadel. Good luck Chris. You deserve the big gig. If you ever need a partner, let me kn…… oh wait a minute, we already tried that. Ah the hell with it. After I made the decision to walk away from Citadel, my wife filed for divorce, my dog ran away, and my daughter learned the word “no”. On a lighter note, I’m attending CSI, to then transfer to ISU to get my Bachelors in Mass Communication. I will make it back. The world is too small for my imagination, but too big for my procrastination. Good luck to everyone. By the way, I would love to hear Caves trying to justify the price of BSU tickets now that the Broncos are 0 and 2 with Bowling Green rolling in. LOL…That guy is a great salesman, fine print never got such good ratings.

Most of us are in jail and dead…

We know Chris has done some screwing over of people but it was just because they didn’t meet his expectations…Or they let themselfs get screwed over and had no one else to blame…

When your in a radio studio, like Vegas, what happens on the air, Stays on the air…

We just need a format where it’s OK for Chris to just rip into the other staff people around him and the occasional caller…

Now THAT would be some GOOD Radio!

Someone should organize a convention of people who worked with–and got screwed over by–Chris Brewer. You’d have to rent out the big building at the Fairgrounds to have room for all of them.

The war stories would be great fun to hear, though.

Man..I turn on 1350 this morning after being out of town for a couple days…and what the “bleep” am I listening to? Not the Spud Brothers.

I for one thought the Spud Brothers was a great program. J Bates and Chris Brewer were both doing a good job.

My only question is why does 1350 think Boise needs yet another “National Take” on sports in the morning? We already have Jim Rome and Dan Patrick. I don’t need another regurgitation of the same thing.

Late…I’d be interested in hearing what the heck happened to get the showed booted.

awww thanks Jim.

I’m fine, adjusting to a new/old role. I’ll be covering sports just like I was at channel only with far less back pain from carrying equipment.

As for Chris, I’m one on air partner that still really likes and respects the guy. After a few weeks of the occasional blowup because I’d make a rookie mistake, we really settled into a nice groove. This was economics not personal. I wish him well, and count my blessings KTIK saw to keep me on. It’s nice to work for a company that wants me.

What did he do that was so Awful? I take it with all the silence surrounding this, that he must of been fired. Bet seriously Caves Response last night on the show to a caller was kind of rude. Tune in at 6:00 tomorrow he says. But boy something like Rome being moved is talked about for weeks leading. Lacked class in my opinion.

I hope they find something for JBates, I really like that guy.

Working with him longer than most, I do wish him luck. I hope he can get into something else besides radio. It seems that road may have ended.

To say the least, Chris was a very ‘abrasive’ personality. You reap what you sew…that’s my thought on him. That and karma can be a real bitch if you land on the wrong side of it!

The other thing to remember about Chris, however…he’s like a bad penny. He’ll be back again somewhere….
