Grab the Bull by the, uh… bumper?

Don Day | October 31, 2005

KSRV’s got a stunt planned…

Think you can hold on to a car or truck longer than anyone else?? YOU may Drive away with a used car or truck from Gentry Ford. Listen for details on “Lay Your Hands on Me” on 96.1 the Bull. Contest is Saturday, November 19th at Gentry Ford in Ontario.
Click on the car for details.

Thank goodness they aren’t asking people to put their lips on a 10-year-old Saturn.

hummm…lay your hands on me…isn’t that a bon jovi song…hell use sound gardens “hands all over” or the doors and ‘touch me”

ah ha..got it…the thing could be done around fathers day and play “daddys hands” and use that as a name…

How about the song…”keep your hands to yourself” and just go buy the damn car. Incidently, I saw a 1990 GEO metro for sale by owner, today for the outstandingly low, low price of just $3,995.00. Must be the 40+ MPG’s-(has no bearing on this contest just thought I would throw that in for prospective) So tell us Jeff, is this the real thing or do the contestants get to take a “break” to go to the john etc, Good Luck.

good one!!!! How about Samanta Fox and “touch me”? Cale should be able to come up with some more 80 and 90’s classics.

    Is that a challenge?

You mean like “Hands” by Jewel? Or “Touch Me (All Night Long)” by Cathy Dennis? What about Slade’s classic “Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply” or my personal choice, Mudhoney’s “Touch Me, I’m Sick.”

Maybe they could add a fascinating touch to the contest by making them watch “The Exorcist” over & over until nobody is touching the car!

Or listen to tapes of Jocky John from his Hot 104 KHTR days! :o)

Oh please, post those tapes! Maybe they contain a promo from Gary or Keith or Joe Risk!

    Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’ – Journey
The Bad Touch – Bloodhound Gang
Hard To Handle – Black Crowes
Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert – Pink Floyd
I Have The Touch – Peter Gabriel

So I heard Bill Weed about blew a gasket when KZZL sold to the Prasils. Any chance he’ll decide to sell to CC or maybe just upgrade the motor home?

I remember driving to see a WSU/UCLA basketball game when I was in college, and listening to Vanessa Windsor. I realized at that moment that if SHE could get mid-days at Z-Fun, I should be able to also! Looking back, I don’t know whether that was meant to be a curse or a good reason to get into TV!

Oh, but lest we forget those checks of Aaron Taylor at KHTR! :o)
