Psssst…
Don Day | October 31, 2005I hear that a Boise-area station will start spinning Christmas tunes this afternoon.
Tis the… season? Already?
Update The tip said KTSY would start playing Christmas tunes Tuesday afternoon — I imagine this is only part-time? Anyone had a chance to listen?
Update 2 KTSY played some Christmas tunes Monday afternoon to promote their seasonal switch coming DECEMBER 1.
What how dare them…they cant do that… Wal-mart has not yet moved their X-mas stuff out from the garden center yet…. what nerve!!!
Why dont we just start the Christmas Creep in June….that way we can burn out the last vestage of the season sooner…
The day after Halloween will soon become the new day after Thanksgiving. And eventually it will start happening the day after St. Patrick’s Day.
Thank god I started worshipping to pagan gods. Halloween is the only “religious” holiday I have to celebrate, and all I do is eat candy and NOT go to church. It’s exactly what I did when I was a Christian, but without the guilt.
I seem to like Ian’s train of thought :) Mmmmm white chocolate Reeses Peanut Butter Cups…
well, when you have nothing else going for you….play a xmas tune! love makes the world go around, yadayadayada…
i will star 69 the crap out of the first person that calls this year for either Grandma Got Run Over…or the Christmas Shoes. grrrrr!!!
At least they do not call for the “turdy point buck” anymore!

Hmmmm…the highest billing station in the county will begin airing Xmas music shortly and run it 24/7 right thru the new year. Must be somthing to this Xmas thing.
So, here in Salt Lake City, KOSY-FM started at 5 am yesterday… not to mention FM100 has been allowing an Internet stream since October 14.
Hmm, I would have thought it was Lite 108… I mean “107-9 Lite FM” but they have it starting Thanksgiving Day (if their cash song of the day calendar is any indication).
So what station is it? I would have thought Lite too..
It’s a case of wishful thinking. They’re hoping that if they start playing Christmas music, the Holiday Buying Season will start. Basically, it’s superstitious voodoo.
Aren’t there more NON-TEENS who can post to this sight?
Uhhh…what happened to x94.3 in eastern Idaho? What is up with this Christmas music CRAP??? No warning? I feel betrayed and bereft of a decent station to listen to. Grrrr!
Rocket, I’m 22. I’m a non teen. So screw you.
