Well a new company is starting up a new Country station in Rexburg. Guess they didnt see the #s alternative can put up, or are unable to hire a sales staff that will sell it.

How many country stations is that now?

I’m still not over x94, nor are many other people that I talk to that are going to school up here. Is anyone else going pick up the alternative format?

Librarygirl its all good. people get passionate about their music. relax, eventually somebody will try another alternative station in IF. There is a market for it. You ll be fine.

John if starting up a station was so easy, everyone would have one! Glad you got a kick outta da mix. As far as more, just keep an eye on my webpage, I always post different stuff on there.

I am a little upset about X94 too. What kind of idiot would get rid of the best station in town? I don’t know who made that choice but he doesn’t know what he is doing. Everyone I talk to is mad that X was taken of the air for no good reason.

Mojo and Christian were my favorite. I like how Christian always had Dane Cook on to make you laugh.

That is one cool ass mix on your website too. I have never heard anything like that before. A variety of music. Not just rock and hip hop. I like all the movie and tv quoting on it. Putting that right into my ipod. Do you have other mix stuff?

Christian you should start up your own Alternative station because everyone will listen to you if you did. Because everyone did listen to you. Or K-Bear should hire you because I would listen to them if they did.

KORR 104 just put up a bunch of nice new billboards around town. So I dont think they would be the choice for a new Alternative.

HEY DENVER GIRL, thanks for the kind words. What can I say, I tried, I put in work and my numbers showed it. I just talked to my old bosses in LA and they were blown away that I put up #s like I did against a well respected heritdage rock station along with some other pretty dang heavy duty talent. Who knows, maybe another owner will respect the 26.0 I can bring him or her in the ratings for their rocker someday. (thats what I came here from Los Angeles to do!) Or maybe they would like to have #1s in half a dozen different demos including Males 24-44. (who said X only appealed to kids? With my political humor? Fuhgeddaboudit!..thank you Phil Hendrie!) A good GM will be able to identify that, realize they can make cash with those #s, apply themselves as hard to their job as I did to mine, market, promote and sell commercial time. I think I will be a benefit to some other radio company here in South East Idaho someday. Especially with all these people moving here for all the new good jobs in this incredible area. Just like you coming from Denver and working at the library. Or my wife from LA to do psychologyism stuff, her girlfriend from Houston to do the same, my neighbor from Hawaii to work at the lab, ect… (Just for the record the IF library is one of the nicest ones I have ever been to.) I will be sticking around IF and taking the real estate exam so I can help all the new people from NY, LA, Denver, Seattle, SLC, ect…buy new homes in IF! It is one of the fastes growing areas in the country. Me and wifey will be buying a home shortly. Besides, I have met so many good people here. It really is a great place. I wont leave. Heck, wife wont let me.

Its nice to hear positive comments from ladies because I know I didnt talk the easy way out and just rant about strippers and boobs then run out the door after my shift. You heard the show, the comedy, the bits, a dozen calls a day…yet I still managed to play a ton of music every hour. Very much ‘music intensive’ I love what I do so I put my heart into it.

Im going to have to respectively disagree with you about the Joe Mormon thing. In fact alot of support for X94 has come out of Rexburg and BYU ;) and I work with some really cool people that the Mormon shin dig happens to be their thing. Nothing wrong with loving God. After all, I am Christian…and I was even an altar boy as a kid too. So I got faith.

Joe Mormon makes for a good neighbor too. Much better then Joe Gangbanger. Thats why Im sticking around IF. Who knows what the future holds. At least I know there wont be drive-bys, junkies passed out in the gutter by my front door and drug dealers cat calling my wife ‘Yo Blonde!’

They’ve got a boomin’ signal. I’m in Boise…..can any Poky/IF jocks tell me about that station? Do they pull any #’s??
