If I get Rollergirl??? She can pick and choose! Have a couple of superstars if that is what will make her happy.

Mr.Mind...Oldtimer is on the ball...But you never heard it from me! Nicolino swore me to silence on the whole thing before I left.

As far as X94...what was that? Like an alternative station or somthing? Dude it has been 2 months already. But the story goes..."Once upon a time a great white knight came along, slayed the beast known as X94 and saved the kingdom from the evil tyranny of Alternative Rock"....My hero.

I know $$$ is tight at Sand Hill, but somebody needs to take care of that thing with Sled Shed/Sticks & Stones so I don't have to keep hearing about it.

Im going to bed...I want to battle the boogieman....Oh wait, I AM the Boogieman.

Oldtimer, beware that Sand Hill rumor mill. Frandsen is too cheap to pay for proper promotion for his broken down company so they try to create a street buzz. Might have worked when there were 10,000 people in IF, now with 10 X that amount it doesnt have the same effect.

So now it may be because of BYU-I that X94 flipped? Funny. First it was ratings. When that was disproved it was because no adults were listening. When that was disproved it was the advertisers' fault. When people found out sales' people couldn't even talk about X94 in meetings it may now be because of BYU-I?! Who is to blame next? The boogeyman? Santa Claus? Jesus, Mary and Joesph?

Interesting company they have there. It would be nice if somebody would return a call and set the record straight.

Sadly 'Groovy 94' may have more of a chance at success then the AC, they are attempting.

My understanding is that Sand Hill is one step above broke and management does not know how to correctly market and promote any of its' stations. The move to AC is a desperate attempt to try and take advertisering $$$ away from KLCE. KLCE has firmly established itself as the heritdage AC. The morning show with Wayne, Liza and Jerry is compareable to any in a large market. So to think that advertisers will walk on a successful station like KLCE and the way it is correctly programmed, marketed, promoted, and viewed by the community, is foolish at best. Especially if what I am hearing about this new AC being put together in a second rate, cost cutting manner is true. But when you have 3 stations mismanaged and under performing financially you have to try something. Maybe having all three stations designed to appeal to the same basic demographic is what they need to do.

I only see it becoming more of an up hill struggle for Sand Hill if the rumor of Bonnevilles' sale to Vandersloot is true. The man has no problem investing money and is very well respected in the community. It takes money to make money.

Latest from the rumor mill in east Idaho is that the former alternative formatted X94 will become an AC station after Christmas music ends. Owner Sand Hill Media has a sister AC station in Logan and the principles of Sand Hill were the creators of KLCE, east Idaho's most successful AC outlet. An AC format might be more appealing to Brigham Young University-Idaho as Sand Hill has a pending rulemaking with the FCC to swap 94.3 for 100.5 with BYU-I.
