KLCE dropped Delilah awhile back supposedly because her network upped their number of minutes of network commercial inventory in exchange for the program & KLCE did not want to run the extra inventory.

Sorry, 20 years ago, but it’s true. I’ve known Jay since he was at KID-AM in the 70’s. He really is a good guy but made some bad choices. He was arrested a few months back and I never heard what came of it yet. Probably still waiting to go to court. I remember Jim Diamond and Del Ray too. I’ll ask around and see whatever happened to Del Ray.

I worked with Jay for a while when he was working with for Q99 (now KUPI 99). There was also a jock going by the name of Jim Diamond. Jim was hauled off the air and then found himself doing time courtesy of the State of Idaho. I hope you are confusing the two because Jay was a truly nice person. He really got stomped when he tried to open his own station and lost it.

I’d also like to hear if anyone knows whatever happened to Del Ray John.

Last I heard a few months back Jay was in jail. I haven’t heard him on the radio for a couple years.
