Murmurs…

Don Day | January 31, 2006

Just about a month ago I started hearing lots of whispering about a big format change.

Now a very similar pattern is starting to develop. Could we see two format changes in one season?

Does Big Jack fit into one of these format changes? I am still waiting for an update on him.

I’m still trying to figure out what CCDG means. Does that stand for “Clear Channel Does Good”? In retrosepect, after reading your comment about big Jack, I’d guess not.

Ian, I wouldn’t wish Clear Channel on my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would, I am sort of evil like that. They are my initials…sort of.

I heard they are bringing in Home Shopping Channel or QVC to one of the local FM’s… At least the audio part will be good…

I wonder if anybody would notice if the Formats change. Most people I know have the Buttons on their radio memorised and flip it when they find something annoying anyway. I would think rather than sporting a woody to slam all these idiots like Clear Channel, you all would have a plethera of CDs you pilfered from these gigs you had with these multiple radio stations. I dunno, I just came to this site to read about J Bates. That was one cool guy.

Jim, you have a point, come to think of it, my CD collection has grown greatly ever since the McDonaldization of local radio happened…..

Buy Satillite radio…all the music you could want w/ no commercials! The worlds largest playlist!

Then throw in more sporting events then ESPN, FOX SPORTS, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS combined…not to mention news…news talk, comedy…the list goes on for 150 channels…

And less then the price of one cd a month.

If you live in an area where you think your local terrestrial diall sucks, it is a great option.
