He could not be convinced otherwise. And complained about it regularly.The water stank like rotten eggs. The roof leaked, The air conditioning froze up, the heat didn't heat. And there was one occasion in particular when Doug Hardy got so nauseous from the stink that came from the men's room (that was next to the break-room area), that he started puking his guts out. Yep. What is one to do... When I worked there back in the 80's, I was told that the station had tried to go 50Kw with transmission towers near Micron... The then powers that be ruled it unfeasible... Any other input on this, I would be interested to know what others think or know about this dilema. Maybe we could stop adding so many State employees and all other forms of government growth and that might help cut down on property tax increases all the time...but hey, I would take a good paying state job if one comes along too...and so would you too more than likely, right?
