So obviously, it is confusing. Here's the original flier, created before the first advertisment ever aired and containing all the correct faces. Amazing how much they look alike! Just one MAJOR difference.......... It's the "Amp it up" song all over again. Why does Magic distort the advertising that someone is paying for? Isn't that unethical? I was on the phone with Aaron Traylor and the promoter when the whole thing was conceptualized and have been working with them on it ever since. I know how much hard work Aaron has put into this, so I understand his frustration. I also understand that the promoter wants to advertise on all stations to reach the largest audiance possible. Don't you think that the situation has been taken advantage of though? We just put advertising into motion on KTPZ as well. By the way, I love that station. Howard and JR are the illest! Do you think they're going to have an add that sais "MUSIC MONSTER Spring Jam!" HaHAAHAA!!! Now that would be CRAZY!!!! They wont though. They're there own station that has there own agenda and original ideas going on. It's too late to go back now. It is what it is and as I said before, I think it's gotten rather silly. Still love seeing chr competition......if you do something, I'll copy it and do it too.....let's really confuse the listeners instead of doing something original. He doesn't really dig "radio" music. And yeah, the faces that are missing are Dice One and Mr.Dirt. What does it really matter though? I don't believe our name is even mentioned on the Magic Add. I've never been able to pin point exactly where it comes from, but, for the past 3 years Magic hasn't seemed to like Mad Ro. It's allways felt like a smile in your face and kick you on your way out kind of thing. I'm not sure though. Mybe I'm just touchy about DJs who slam me on the air and to callers while I'm spending advertising dollars at the station. That may have all changed now though.... I sure hope so.
