I have just recently listened to Sunny 94 and I kind of like it. It is nice and mellow and they don’t play all the cuss words like Korr 104 and Z 103 play all the time.

First, you picked a good name. You do seem to be somewhat of a “know it all.”

If Arrow 107 were in fact #1, #2 and #3 in every adult demo as you claim, It speaks more to me of the mediocrity of the entire radio market in the area. Call the format “Classic Hits” or whatever you want, I call it bland. To each their own. I would rather listen to what is basically the same playlist on KMGI.

From the comments I’m reading I’m forced to conclude that you and Tater Salad must be the same person. Or do you just share the same SHM cheerleader skirt and pom-poms?

Some interesting posts on this subject Tater, Sunnyside Up, and TJ. Yes, Arrow 107 is bland, SO BLAND INFACT that they are #1 #2 and #3 in every adult demographic after only like 2 1/2 to 3 years of existence… apparently bland is popular in Eastern Idaho! Hooray for blandness…long live the blandness!!! I guess the other top stations in East Idaho are all bland too…as well as the top stations in Boise…and Salt Lake…and Seattle… need I go on…Geesh…whatever people…maybe you should cut back on whatever it is that you are smokin’? I think it is distorting your perception of reality!

Well Sunnyside you sure like to assume a lot of things that are wrong. You tell me I’m “obviously not in eastern Idaho” because I don’t agree with you. Well I’ve probably been here a lot longer than you. And FYI Tater Salad does not know who I am and I don’t know him. We are two different people. Get used to it, just because 2 different people disagree with you does not mean they are obviously the same person. I never worked for X94 either. By the way I hadn’t listened to Arrow 107 for a while, so I listened yesterday just to see if I had been giving them a bad rap. I think I heard some Seals & Crofts, Lionel Richie, and Styx. Not rockin’ Styx mind you, but one of their cheesy sounding ballads. I stand behind my statement that Arrow 107 is bland, and I agree with Tater Salad that they are just trying to be advertiser safe. As far as ratings are concerned, if Sunny 94 gets more than a fraction of what X94 used to get I will be very surprised.

Arrow is “Classic Hits” not Classic Rock” …there is a difference…and because of that it is designed to be male and female friendly both…not just a guy “jobsite” radio station… and, once again thanks to “George” Arrow apparently has 700-800 songs in rotation. “George” also tells me after reading these posts that you “Tater Salad” and “TJ” are the same person and according to your “IP” addresses are a former X94 employee… who is a bit bitter… and if you are who I think you are…don’t let it bother you, you have talent, and everyone gets put “on the beach” at some point…good luck to you man!
