I&#039;ve taken some heat for closing that thread.  I can&#039;t be impartial on the subject of local TV, for obvious reasons.  Since I&#039;ve got the task of moderating the threads - I cannot make neutral decisions in that field. I&#039;m employed by a TV station, and my promise is that this site won&#039;t cover that part of the industry in any depth.

This site is not a profit center. In fact, I spend a couple hundred bucks a year to keep it going - not to mention my time.  Channel 7 provides me with a pay check every two weeks - so when push comes to shove -- push it is. Or shove. Whichever.
