Shoot, I wish Mutant Pop would come back, and death metal in AM stereo actually was so RIGHT.

I actually even found about 4 1/2 minutes of KIYS in the form of Miami Vice (remix) with a voice over! And I'm still game if you want that KBSU 91.3 aircheck.

Thanks for shifting Michael Feldman's time slot. I'm one of those Idaho transplants from the midwest (Madison, WI) who regularly listens to both "Whad'ya Know?" and "A Prairie Home Companion" on Saturday. It was a tough choice to give up part of Michael's show to switch over to "Companion." (Yes, I know about the repeat broadcasts.) Now I won't have to miss either show. KBSU and NPR are my weekend staples. Keep up the great programs!
Thank you.

And I couldn't agree more. The continuous cut back in news programming has been terrible. This is disconcerting.

.02=

as a supporter of public telivision and radio...and as a member/supporter of of Boise State Radio....

Leave News 91 alone.

Leave the BBC overnights...after all, it's really the only true "fair and balanced" news
coverage available in town.

If any music based programming were to be added...add "the pulse"- the student based programming that they run on sundays. run some ethnic/world/college radio programming. run it like a true public/college radio station.

in summation:

thumbs down to....

BSR's watered down jazz programming moving to News 91.

thumbs up to:

whatdda ya know, le show, this american life, wait wait dont tell me, etc.

more KCRW-esque programming (i.e. le show, weekend becomes eclectic, etc)
maybe some pacifica programming (i.e. democracy now!)

just one member's opinion.
