Car smashes in to Plaza 7

Don Day | August 28, 2006

A vehicle rammed in to the Plaza 7 building on Fairview – better known as the home to Journal Broadcast Group’s Boise radio operations. The car did not run in to the Journal operations (which would have been quite the feat, considering they are on the second floor), but did cause quite a commotion Monday night.

KTVB’s Adam Atchison reports that the driver of a white van was parked across the street at Los Betos, when he stepped on the accelerator, flew across Fairview, and came to rest halfway inside the building. Just last week, the building’s owners (not KTVB, despite the “Plaza 7″ name) – removed a bunch of trees in front of the building, clearing a nice path in to the building.

Driver’s OK. No other injuries. More at KTVB.COM

amen Shannon, if I moved away from SLC, Carne Asada tacos at Betos would be the only thing I’d miss. Good to see I can add Boise to the list of possible destinations again.

This wouldn’t be the first time Los Betos has caused someone to enter cardiac arrest.

    Great hangover food though.

Gotta head across the street to cure that hangover over a long airshift.

“Amy Lee likes it in the, but…”

Is this first hand information you are passing along Don?

    Jim –

Ian made a reference to Amy Lee’s former boyfriend writing “Amy Lee likes it in the, but…” on his show Saturday.

Not “butt” but “but.” Confused? Yeah.

Ian also talked about it sounding like he was drunk.

So I was just stringing a couple of things together… makins sense to no one but Ian.

How does a article entitled “Car smashes in to Plaza 7″ turn into a string about Ian sounding drunk and saying something about …likes it in the, but…?

    Interesting tangent.

    I though I was incoherent…

Did anybody lend props to the anti-tree dude who likely made the guys spaceflight mission safer in the process?

No, certain spices would make me miserable, so it would be a bacon induced flight for me…
