Sorry to dig up an old post, but I don’t know how many of you have seen this. This morning on Mancow’s radio show on WLS, he actually volunteered to have himself waterboarded. He only lasted six seconds, which apparently is nine seconds less than average, and after the ordeal he claimed that it was “way worse than I thought it would be” and that waterboarding is “absolutely torture.” I guess it should be noted that Mancow nearly drowned as a child.

“Ken Bass”???? Didn’t you once have a show on the air back in …………..oh I don’t know? 1992? Did the occasional MC gig for whatever silent auction? Yeeeeaaahhhhhh, that’s right. Good to see you’ve done so well for yourself.

My guess is that the diablo show will fail miserably. Sounds like a highschool production and not a very good one at that.

Too bad Mancow is gone! He represented the only reason I would be on 100.3 in the morning and was a great alternative to Bob & Tom. Get Mancow back or Adam Carolla and maybe me and my friends will be back.

After listening to the X’s new morning show for a couple of days…I think “Blah Blah Blah” is right.
Maybe they can run Oprah radio!

Great! Mancow sucked. I mean, 5 minutes of show followed by 15 minutes of commercial isn’t very fun early in the morning.

Ian and Diablo are fun and having some music is a plus.

Regular Guy, Take Ray’s advice, go to the web, download Man Cow and turn off the radio. By the way, on behalf of every radio listener in the valley thank you for your critque of Diablo and the Rev after one whole shift. I am sure you listen to the whole shift before offering your amateurish opinion. As they say in radio, thanks for listening, and oh, that’s right you WERE! Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow!

Listened to the new show this morning out of curiosity. Very amateurish. I did like Ian though. Calling him the “Reverend” I will assume is the obvious play on “Diablo”.

Keep reassuring yourself on the air that this is ” what you the listeners wanted” maybe you’ll convince yourself of it sometime soon. In the meantime, I and many others have already moved on.

Mancow got tossed out the building at his station in Chicago, at probably one of the lamest commercial corporate Alt/Active/Modern rock stations in the country.

Why should X keep a show that they dont even like anymore in his hometown? a show that is bombing in the ratings?

The guy blows. X must have gotten caught up in his press pack, some suit probably decided that ‘Mancow is the way to go’ and the staff, and community, had that $#!t program forced on them. Suits man…never good for radio.

Yelling into the mic = suck.
