Who needs Arbitron?

Obviously, the Boise Weekly "Best Of" is an accurate way to dertermine the thoughts and opinions of Boise radio listeners.

Well, at least a few of those who dwell from State Street Northward.

How ironic is it and what does it say about commercial broadcasters' commitment to the community that the only stations willing to commit adequate resources to local news coverage are those that don't have to make a profit and which are funded by taxpayers and private contributions.

Is this another indication of listeners saying they're not getting what they want from commercial radio?

Will the day soon come when we get ALL of our news from the government?

Food for thought, at least.
