I highly doubt that they would have fired Kevin if he wrote the “letter” that supposidly insulted someone(god forbid)which caused them to loose a few bucks revenue. Considering their old “A” lister(Laura)was clearly the big reason they were successful…I’d begin with an apology and get her back to town! After all that they’ve done with the stations they should know you can’t just find people who jive like those two did and get decent ratings. Or should our next topic be “how many people has CC fired because they didn’t sound good together and get instant ratings”? Got enough bandwith to handle that one?

Some people don’t get how it works…and probably don’t have a clue how Kevin feels about his employer (If they even know him). If Brad Garrett is a B cast member on Everybody loves Raymond, does that mean the producer of the show thinks he sucks? He is still a big star and a key part of making the show a hit. Some of you just want to throw stones and whine. Good luck Kevin, I hope your company finds someone who compliments you and makes your station solid.

I’ve always been happy to have a job no matter what letter they call me. And by now, I’ve covered most of the alphabet! (P.S. Kevin, you’re an “Allstar” as far as I’m concerned.)

Good grief, people read soooo much into every little thing and it always seems to be negative. Nearly every show has an A and a B player…..Shows with more than two peeps have c and d players etc….and each is just as important as the other. One is the person in charge of the show….the direction, keeping things on track etc., the other is more of the personality. B players can make more money in some cases than the A player and sometimes not, it depends on the show. Show me a morning show where there are no defined roles and I’ll show you a 2 share morning show, hoping to hang on to thier job for one more book before they get fired.

Kevin is a great guy, and runs a tight show, but if any of you have listened, he is not the “personality”, and in my opinion that is all the want ad is saying, not that Kevin is a horible dj.

Kevin is a GREAT guy. It’s a shame that CC treats him like CRAP. But then again, who has been micromanaging the station and giving him little to NO authority in his own show??? JC???
