Cheerleaders, God and Twin Falls, ID
Don Day | February 28, 2007The LA Times has a major story in today’s editions about the Calvary Satellite Network — based in Twin Falls.
Here’s the teaser:
Amid accusations over sex, money and control, Pastor Chuck Smith is about to surrender much of the evangelical radio empire to a man he calls morally unfit for ministry.

Will this get at least three of the five Air1 stationsoff the air and get them to hire a real engineering consulatant, not “My Simpson and my B+K, they comfort me”…
Talkin’ the talk but not walkin’ the walk…who would’ve thunk it?!
If I’m not mistaken, Calvary owns the Effect Radio Network. Rather, Air 1 is owned by EMF Broadcasting (who also owns K-Love). The Effect Radio Network is based out of Twin Falls, whereas, EMF is based in Rocklin, CA. They are two separate companies.
They are indeed two separate companies. Both are driven by morally questionable motives. EMF just has the tendancy to abuse the spectrum a little more in this area.
