If people don't like it, they won't listen. If the show will not get good ratings, it will eventually go away. If they do like it, and it is successful, it will be obvious that it does not matter what order it is in. Citadel is not going to pay someone to put the show in the correct order.

Come on guys. First of all, they wouldn't put it on a CD anyway, they would just record it in the computer and then play it back from the computer. And furthermore, what they are doing is very common. This gets at least PART of the show live (the last hour) instead of NONE of the show live if they play it in order. This whole Hoo-Rah is much ado about nothing. Get a life and worry about stuff that matters!

Drizzle,

That sounds like an old "TV Master Control" trick...It would take an extra body to pull off your idea and I am betting that there are no extra bodies to spare on Bannock.

Quit yer beyotchin, If KBOI took the effort to look ahead and just record the show, hour-by-hour, as it's feeding LIVE, they could present the show properly, in pattern.

Any monkey with a computer and an audio card can do that.

All you have to do is record the show hour by hour as it airs on the East coast, at 8-11AM Mountian.

Record the show, hour-by-hour and burn the 60 minute blocks onto a CD. It's simple computer and mp3 editing.
A good editor with a mixing board, the log and access to the commercials could edit the show segment-by-segment and add the local commercials into the feed, on the fly.

By the time you go LIVE to KBOI, you have two hours in the can and one hour to record. If you pre-recorded the first 2 hours at 8am, the last two hours of the program you could have a free person to do "other various jobs" around the station, like production work.

Dizzle, The, Bob etc...before you keep flappin gums about how cheap BOI is...do the research first.

Dennis Miller is LIVE from 8am to 11am MOUNTAIN...and it is re-fed noon to 2pm MTN and 2pm - 5pm MTN

Paul J and Chris are done at 10am. So...that means that there is a hole for 1 hour if you wanted to pick up the complete re-feed of the show. Sooooo they take one hour live (the 3rd hour) and then pick up the re-feed for the remainder.

Yeah it may suck that it is out of order...how about some suggestions to fill the 10a - 11a hour? Imagination theater? Barry Farber? Re-reuns of bronco games edited to fit in the hour time frame? ha ha ha. I like that idea.

Yeah, it's kind of sad that KBOI doesn't run this show in pattern. How hard is it to run audio on Dennis with an audio server and just record it live?

It's not that hard to cut and burn the hours as feed to a CD an re-air the show in pattern.

Wait, that might cost a little too much money. That's actually about 40 cents worth of CD's per day, WAY too much for KBOI's budget. HA HA HA HA!
