Nope, no loading dock. It just had a bomb shelter with a geiger counter and lots of radon.

Creepy.

"The X and Journal moved from an old building with a loading bay to a deluxe apartment in the sky"

Hmm, I don't recall seeing a loading dock at Journal's old location.

It looked like a nice, old, funky building to me.

Hey, I heard that Jeff Cochran just got kicked out of SLC and applied for mornings at the X.
Who needs B&D when we can get ironed jeans and perfectly "feathered" hair instead!?!?!?

The X and Journal moved from an old building with a loading bay to a deluxe apartment in the sky, so if thy cannot afford to shop at the mall, they are still getting over paying the rent like any of us.

"No morning show has been successful on The X since Byl and Doug. The way it’s going now, I know a lot of people who want B&D back on the air on The X."

It's true that Byl and Doug had the following of a great many fans when they were on the X. It's also true that they never sounded quite the same on the Eagle. In their heyday they had a very unique show- like nothing I've ever heard anywhere else. I miss them as well. One important thing to bear in mind, however, is that they weren't an overnight success. They were slow to gain momentum, but the X kept them there long enough to let their talent shine (and let the listeners warm up to their kookiness.)

In my opinion, the X's current morning show sounds pretty solid. They just have not been around for enough books to really judge their level of success. Think about it. How many did it take before Byl and Doug could truly be considered "successful"? This morning show will likely evolve and improve with time, if given the chance. I just hope that these guys will be granted that opportunity, as Byl and Doug had been. Until then, it's unfair to claim that they lack success.

"Alright The! REAL MEN SWEAR!"

Sorry, I forgot that "real men" are scared by "magic, dirty" words.

How many Hail Mary's should I say to repent for my vulgar use of the vernacular?

Will Someone in radio please hire Dizzle!

Dizzle said.."Usually when debuting in a market, Mancow asks for callers from the city that just picked up his program. The first episode of Mancow that aired in Boise on The X didn’t get anyone from Boise calling into the show for at least the first two hours.

The first caller from Boise on Mancow’s show that day, the one and only, Journal Broadcast Group’s CB"

This is not true as usual Dizzle! I had to board op that damn show and the first caller from Boise was a guy named Stan, who is a garbage truck driver and a friend! Get your facts straight. And KQXR in 2005 won R&R Best Alt Award for small markets! Last time I checked 2005 came after 2004!
