I must have flipped constantly for 5 days straight over the 4th weekend to every station in Boise. Somehow radio just sounds wrong overall when you have 3 smothering the other (what 30-kidding sorta). I love country too...but boy right now this market isn't what it's been (by far unfortunately). And please tell me but how big does Boise have to be to put live weekenders on and spend a couple more hours programming before you take off for your vaca? I swear it was 5-6 days of radio misery...such a bummer. I was in the car constantly and was deeply discouraged. ps. PLEASE DON'T REPLY WITH THE USUAL"OUR STATION HAS LIVE DJ'S B.S." OR YOU'LL BE LIKE THE SCAMMERS WHO THINK THAT NO ONE NOTICES THE HOUSE AND HAWAII GIVEAWAY. PEOPLE AREN'T AS DUMB AS YOU HOPE THEY ARE-HENCE IPOD AND SATELLITE CROSSOVER. SPEND THE 150 EXTRA BUCKS TO HAVE A DECENT WEEKEND OF RADIO OVER THE HOLIDAY FOR GOODNESS SAKE geez... One reason to listen to country is because of the strong patriotic Pro America sentiment that goes with country music. This seem to be lacking in the new formating with some less than flattering items. Such as the "Tom Brokaw breaking news" I just listened to. If this is the trend I will be looking for a new station. I can't imagine syndication after years of the stuff CC put out. Regardless of Big D, Bubba or Lia it all sounded like voice tracks from top to bottom. Live and local all the way... When I pressed for an anwser he said yeah I think its at 12 5 and 9, come on don't analyze the wow just love the wow. I tell you My country was less annoying than kissin, not anymore Im switching.
