Boob billboard a book bluff?

Don Day | April 30, 2007

The Idaho Statesman followed our lead on the boob billboard story online tonight (BREAKING NEWS!) – and has actual reaction from KKGL/96.9 The Eagle.

The radio station will make an announcement about the racy billboards’ future Thursday morning — leaving room for a few more days of news reports and publicity. A decision has already been made, (KKGL program director Scott) Souhrada said.

Thursday huh?

Souhrada’s tone is conciliatory – which makes one think the boards will come down. Maybe the billboards will sprout a sweater with Doug Hardee and Jason Drew’s faces.

I think the billboard is in poor taste. Why not have a picture of a penis with the two guys pictured and call them the 2 dickheads.

“Why not have a picture of a penis with the two guys pictured and call them the 2 dickheads.”

Because that would be truly “edgy” and this is about APPEARING to be edgy. It’s the billboard equivalent of Carlos Mencia.

You see, its ok. Its not like you see the tits. you see cleevage on TV all the time, infact its part of prime time. Where do you people get off saying its racy. I mean allan freed was bitched at back in 1950 and that was racy for that era. This is no acception. People will continue to push bounderies to do what they think is alright. Leave them alone. Its not like anyone is showing there clits, or pussy

I think the radio station should make up 10,000 T-shirts with the same image on the front with the two boobs comment and the radio station call letters on the back.

    Then give them away.

Much cheaper advertising than the billboards.

Guess what, I’ll bet people wear them. Folks would line up and beg for a chance to get one. Free advertising for the life of the shirt.

Then let the same prudes tell those who are wearing the shirts not to do so. LOL.

Sound like a good Sunday going to Church wearing shirt. I’ll take a 4xl.

This is ignorance at its best. All the people that have been offended cant take a joke and cant stand the REALITY of people saying things to their face.
YOU make a billboard “racy” YOU make it bad for kids, if you didnt point out the negative they would have never noticed the BOOBS on the billboard.
