I tuned in last night for the first time, and after two songs - heard a spot break. It had just five commercials in it.

they just go commercial free...and eat the loss. no 15 min sets of commercials. do the math of how much it costs to do a commercial free hour 3 x a day for a month...lots of $$ lost.

I tried to listen to 104 last evening..... I had an errand to run that takes about 12-15 minutes. I got in the car, punched up 104, and by the time I arrived at my destination, I had heard NO (that's ZERO) songs. All commercials and lots of WOW this and WOW that. So if they are doing 104 of anything in a row, the downside is there is a HUGE tune out factor when they attempt to pay the bills. You do the math ... If they run for an hour and a half (just under 104 minutes) there are about 12-18 minutes of commercials they still have to put somewhere from the first hour, plus what they didn't play in half of the second hour. So, they will have 15 minute+ commercial blocks, or they won't make money. And if they run commercials that long, they won't have an audience, and they won't make money. If they are doing 104 in a row of anything, it can't last very long if they intend to survive.
