Technical issues should be handled by the wonderboy that Tester brought with him from Montana… From what it said in the local paper he is some kind of IT computer- rocket scientist or something… Call him when you hear a problem and maybe he can then try to issolate the problem…just a suggestion as I dont listen to any of their stations.

Yeah, the problem is probably a LACK of pushing buttons. 6th graders could do much better. This is what happens when automation equipment is not set up properly, and is relied on entirely to run a radio station. Spending a few bucks on a morning show board-op/news person for “The Man” might not be a bad investment.

Also, I’ve noticed on Bob FM that the audio drops out quite often for a split second- almost like a CD skip. It happens in almost every song. It gets kind of annoying after a while.

I’m not trying to pick on Tester here, in fact I think he is doing some very interesting things in this market. However, it is very important for him to address these issues, because he could potentially lose many listeners.

I’ll be interested to see what he makes of KMCL’s new Parma licensed signal when it goes on-air.

Oh it’s a complete mess… The transition from programming to spots can best be described as a trainwreck.

There’s dead air, cut off spots, rejoining in the middle of a PSA, painful bumper music into even more bumper music.

I like the shows… Carolla, Don and Mike, and Leykis. Just don’t catch them in a commercial or you’ll never make it back into programming

That’s true on other Tester stations as well. They probably should stick to pre-packaged radio like Bob FM. They can’t seem to handle the complexities of radio equipment and programming

I like the format, but it seems they still can’t get their act together. I never know if they will run Corolla all the way to 11 or quit early. Sometimes Fox Sports appears out of nowhere at 10:30.

Also, why do they cut off Corolla in mid sentence, jump to local commercials only to come back and hear Corolla say they’re taking a commercial break. Come on guys. This sounds like you have a bunch of sixth graders running the equipment over there and pushing buttons at random.

So, I was listening to Carrola on my way into work this morning, and when they went to commercial, instead of ads, they just played Johnny Cash’s “When the Man Comes Around”.

Now, all day yesterday they played the song on a continuous loop to promote today’s flip, but I would have thought that by the time they launched today they would have at least made up some imaging and/or had some ads. Oh well. The Man wins again.
