"I like KWOA/Wow Country 104.3’s website. They are putting a lot of time and effort into making it work."

I whole-heartedly agree! I spend most of my day on hundreds of Country stations websites and this by far is the best I have ever seen! They have all the elements that most radio websites have, but they present them so it looks like they belong there, instead of throwing them up on the web because they dont' know what to do wtih them.

Did that make sense? Probably not :-)

Long story short--I LOVE LOVE LOVE their website!! A lot of radio stations can learn a lot from them.

"I flip around quite a bit, but things like dietician Stacy Middleton’s segment and the River Readers are more than just the usual psychics and phoners.
- That said, I actually quite enjoy the psychics. Crazy Psychic Sheila on KZMG/Magic 93.1 and Alice on KCIX/Mix 106 could be 100% wrong and it would still make for good radio… usually."

I absolutely DESPISE when radio gives airtime to anti-scientific nonsense like "psychics."

Yes, some, perhaps even most, listeners realize that professional "psychics" are charlatans, but others do not and their belief in irrationality should not be encouraged.

If any of these "psychics" think they really have "powers," I encourage them to visit James Randi's website, randi.org. There they can obtain details on how to apply for his Million Dollar Prize which will pay them the stated sum if they can demonstrate any supernatural ability under controlled conditions.

A million bucks to simply do what they claim to do on the air for plugs for their businesses sounds pretty good, right?
