KBOI’s big truck…

Don Day | August 28, 2007

I noticed KBOI’s large semi-truck a few weeks ago but forgot to blog about it until today. The big whit truck has “670 KBOI” printed in huge letters, plus the faces of Paul J. & Chris, as well as several of the stations syndicated hosts.

It got a flash of national coverage today, as Larry Craig said “Let me be clear, I am not gay, I never have been gay” – on national TV… LIVE. The semi was rolling down Main St. at that precise instant – joining KBOI’s mic flag on the screen.

Is this the truck that the station owners will be hauling all the cash in they make from covering the games this season?

Is the truck being used as a production vehicle? or just a truck that is driven around town?

How about a photo of said KBOI Truck?

God, I hope its not a truck like Jim took a photo of and shared with us last time, its not is it?

I was sitting in the dentist’s chair, watching the news conference and almost jumped outta’ the chair when I saw the KBOI truck.
Whoever was driving it should get the “employee of the year” or “perfect timing” award.

It’s a truck for the truck driving school thru Selland College. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and was wondering what the deal was…upon closer inspection saw the driving school info.

All of the Citadel stations have them. I’ve seen Kissin’, Eagle, KQFC, and KTIK trucks around. They’re all from the BSU truck driving school.

    But they spelled it wrong.
On the air, nationally. they they were introduced as Chris from “KOBI” twice. Chris was professional enough to not point it out to Don, but it still sounded like fingers on a chalk board.
