KDJQ and Christmas music

KDJQ is currently again on the air, playing Christmas music — and little else.

There are some interesting developments in the KDJQ story to be shared soon.

Hopefully they are coming back.. Their promos are still their standard “89DJQ”, but I like their legal ID: “Locally Owned and Locally Loud, KDJQ Meridian.” Maybe it’s a sign..

I’m waiting patiently on additional news about KDJQ.

They should have bought KDJQ.com from me when I owned it until recently.

Now it appears it’s owned by a squatter, who will almost certainly want more for the domain than I would have taken. Silly KDJQ.

Speaking of AM radio, Some time back one of the posts gave a list of the other Treasure Valley AM channel allocations that are not on the air as of yet… Does anyone one have the particulars on that or who would like to take the time to perhaps inform us of what is listed on the FCC websites….just courious to know if the other signals are engineered like 890… with a very limited night time pattern etc, I would like to see MORE ownership diversity in this market as would everyone else (except those who keep consolidating)
