Nice idea, RadioActive. Given the current state of radio, I would guess your proposal would be something that BSU Radio or Idaho Community Radio would be willing to support. KFXD and KBOI might support the idea, but doubtful.
I have a feeling community radio is going to spawn a lot of talent and be very popular. Watch out for KBSU too. I have a feeling they will be surprising people in the next couple of years.

Hey KJ and any others learning to relive or live out once again the golden days of radio... When it was the theater of the mind...and fun to hear a radio production-
Here is an idea you are welcome to have and use-

We have all kinds of volunteer theaters, playhouses, and performance festivals etc, Why not organize something like the Idaho Radio Theatre?

You could get together and produce, voice and just be creative with scripts, plays etc. Hey, you could even give birth to some creative college students plays etc.

Maybe you could even find a local radio station that would embrace airing the production as part of its commuity service. They could find sponsors etc. or you could pre-package and sell it yourselves etc,

Well, I dont need to drag this out to much you get the idea and you have your own concepts of what could develop out of it... So ponder the idea and go with it if it tickles your fancy.

Knows Don's Dad, we had a Christmas Carol "group hug" of a bunch of CC staff for a few years on KIDO, featuring Governor Kempthorne as the Narrator. He did quite well, and may have a future in it...that is, if the whole politics thing doesn't work out!

Thanks to all who made comments about our little production. My goal is to get it up on our pod-cast page of our web-site sometime this weekend. Hey clyde, sorry if you think we didn't get along in my stint as Ops Dir....but, hey I must have sucked, cause I only lasted 6 months. Ahh radio gotta love it.
