Tooker in the Morning will launch January 8th on KZMG. Miggy Santos and Matty are holding down the morning fort in the meantime.
Also, Casey Acevedo announced she will join Tooker for the morning shift. Acevedo produced her parent’s radio show - Dave & Geri in the Morning — last heard on WHTS/Grand Rapids, MI. If you’re ridiculously curious - you can hear Casey say her name about :30 into this aircheck from her parent’s show.
AllAccess notes that KZMG plans to add one more member to the team. The site also said that Tooker picked Boise because he fell in love with the city after a weekend visit. That never happens.

Why are you being so one sided on your reporting of Tooker. The guy hasn’t even hit the air yet and you are already ripping on him and members of his show. The guy won a CMA that’s more then anything anybody in this market has done. Finally why don’t you interview some of the talent in the market?

Other than poking fun at the coincidental rhyme between Hooker and Tooker the “reporting” has been pretty straight up.

Hey Don, I for one, dont have a problem with your reports. I like the fact we all have a heads up on coming changes in the market. Where else would we go to stay abreast of the constant change and breaking news? I detect no agendas at this point. Its your blog, your time, your effort etc, I appreciate all the efforts so far!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!
