I love seeing and reading about Liberals complain about KBOI. If the Liberal message was so important??? You wouldn’t see radio shows like Al Franken go belly up. HA HA! Liberal radio shows suck the BIG chonies!!!!

Nate has a good show and a lot of energy, but my hell, how many commercial stop sets are there? I must have heard 25+ minutes of commercial content in the show yesterday. I am sure he is just getting warmed up, but I think he is a nice addition to KBOI.

I only listened for a few minutes but I liked what I heard… he’s sort of “Beckish”. Most importantly… He’s local.

You’ve lost me as an afternoon listener. Savage is thought-provoking, even when I don’t agree with him as is frequently the case. The new guy sounds like a local lightweight.

I listened to Nate Shelman briefly this afternoon. I think it will take him time to learn about the area and it’s idiosyncrasies (e.g. political philosophies, lifestyle, etc.), time to adjust to KBOI’s style of operation, and time to develop a relationship with the audience. However, what I heard was positive and will improve as he continues his learning curve and the audience adjusts to him. I’d say he got off to a solid start today.

I for one am not happy with this change, altho I wasn’t happy originally with cutting Mr. Drew. Now I’m used to Savage KBOI changes again. Thank God for the internet as I will be listening to Savage first and foremost as he is irreplaceable in my opinion. However I will leave an open ear to see what Savage’s replacement brings to the airwaves.

So, if bringing in Shelman to do the PM Drive show is a move to create more commercial revenue opportunities, it seems to lend some credibility to the fact Citadel is in trouble financially and KBOI is trying to save their own butt.

Citadel said when Harold was let go it was to save a salary. This time it looks like a move to create more commercial avails. They could save more by eliminating their PDs since an accountant makes the programming decisions.
