I listen to you every morning, just before I spend 2hours in a Hyperbaric Chamber. Keep up the positive attitude, it really helps. I had radiation for a tumor in 1991, it saved my life, but where I had the radiation damaged my internal organs, now they are shutting down. So I spend 2hours a day at the Elks Rehab, in a Hyperbaric Chamber to reverse the treatment of the radiation. I believe in my heart that the treatment will work(and I say a lot of prayers.) My prayers and thoughts are with you every day. God Bless and protect you always.

Tommy's right...the folks at MSTI are amazing, but they're nothing compared to the power you have inside. Thank goodness for early detection because it really does save lives!! Be strong in mind and spirit, and remember that you're a WOMAN...you can do ANYTHING. Cancer doesn't stand a chance. All my best wishes and karma are headed your way.

Early detection IS the best defense. My mom had her first mammogram at age 73. And the staff at M.S.T.I. is so incredibly caring and supportive. My best wishes and positive thoughts are added to the pile here too. I'll buy you a good dill pickle anytime.

Dearest Margo,
There are not many words that people have to say to us at this time in our lives other than we are in their prayers and thoughts.
My first diagnosis of breast cancer was in 2003, early detection by doing self checks, after all the treatments and survival instinct kicked in I thought that I was finally at the end of that chapter of my life, in September I was diagnosed for the second time, this time more aggressive and many more options were taken away but I am still the survivor and will kick this again.
I am sharing this with you to give you the hope and courage to do whatever you must at this time to get as much mileage from your treatments as possible. I have spent much of the last 4 years as an advocate for others that bring them into my world of cancer. We are always stronger in groups, heck, we even go to the bathroom together for support! (Just a smile will do...)
If you need anything from someone that has gone through everything you are facing, come and join us sometime.

Thank you all for your support. What a beautiful collective spirit. I hope the thousands of other people going thru similar situations can draw on that positive spirit as well. It is so uplifting. I'm going to be O.K.

Love to you all

Love IS all you need.

Well Love and a good dill pickle, that's all you need.

From the late Coach Jim Valvano comes these words:
"Cancer can take away all of my physical abilities. It cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart, and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever. To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special."

Margo----give that cancer HELL! Have had the "scare" of cancer myself, and can't even imagine what your brain or heart are feeling, but as a woman who prays ALOT, you will be in mine...count on it! Melissa Dawn

Margo, I'm so sorry to hear about this. Thank goodness for the early diagnosis! Just hang in there and you'll pull through. I know you have a strong will. I learned that in the short time I did production for your show. My dad is a cancer survivor. The road to recovery is sometimes tough, but he made it. He's been cancer free since 1998. Stay positive!
