Ratings: WOW’s got traction

KAWO/WOW Country 104.3 began to see its numbers rise - to a 3.7 in the fall, versus a 2.0 last spring. The Peak-owned station is still the country caboose, with KIZN/Kissin’ 92.3 topping the chart with a 6.3 and KQFC at a 5.4.

The reason why Wow did so well this time around is because they have great imaging. However, there is another factor to consider. They went to a lot of promotions events and promoted the hell out of it. Which they should have done. This gets the word out and makes the station look good. That’s what you need to be successful. I like Wow Country. The program director is great over there to. I will talk to you later.
