Former KPKY host dies

Former KPKY morning co-host KC Holt (real name Kirsti Christie) died in Texas Sunday when she was walking with her mother. An SUV driven by a 17-year-old hit the pair, killing Christie – and injuring her mother Claudia Murdock.
Kirsti was 31.
KC was Kool 94.9’s shining star. This is such a tragedy!
Claudia was my neighbor in Texas. I just heard about this and it breaks my heart.
God bless you Claudia. Rest in peace Christie. God be with you Ron, your in my prayers.

Kirsti and I have been friends since elementary school. She and her mother Claudia have always been beautiful people inside and out. Words can’t express my heartache or measure my tears for their family. I will always love you like a sister, Kirsti.
Please pray for her mother Claudia as she is still in the hospital as of today.
