Here's a concept... like common sense... Or is that dead. Anyway, if BSU wants to promote such a (air)time consuming past time as baseball or other events...do it on their own station(s)... Gee, that would be like the reason schools were supposed to have stations in the first place...not just to be mouthpieces for NPR, APR, etc.... and if done correctly we are back to the principle of using their stations to hone their broadcast STUDENTS talent etc....

To the best of my knowledge, BSU will field the first ever officially sanctioned baseball team next spring. The current Mtn. Cove High School site has been purchased for the baseball stadium and construction is to begin shortly.
The last I knew, KCID was also doing Coyote baseball. However, that could have changed. If so, I humbly stand corrected.

Oh, Geez!!! Did I fail to say that in case of a scheduling conflict, KBOI may place the women's hoops games on KTIK?
At least, if one chose to listen to the Lady Broncos, one would be able to hear it clearly on KTIK as opposed to trying to dial in the KBSU signal which can be as challenging as trying to get Radio Tokyo.
Oh, baseball and/or softball on KBOI, if it is done, I bet it's done as seasonal weekend thing preempting Handel On The Law, Bob Brinker, Rusty Humphries, Jerry Doyle, Sean Hannity, Meet the Press, and Beyond the Beltway. They won't preempt the weekday schedule for baseball. They may preempt Savage & O'Reilly weeknights, but doubtful.

You really think they are going to put "chick hoop" (term popularized by my buddy Mark Browning) on KBOI? Come on. It ain't Pat Summit and Tennessee level yet. Think about it, if it'll go anywhere they'll put it on the "Ticket." After living in East Tennessee, I can tell you though, some of them 'chicks play some mean hoop!
