KTHI/107.1 K-Hits helped co-host KIVI’s coverage of Race for the Cure today. He held down the fort at the halfway point for the station’s coverage of the race event today. Mac joined a pair of KIVI anchors and an Idaho Daily Statesman reporter for the broadcast.
And as a PS/shameless plug… you can find lots of video, pics and exclusive aerial video & finish line cam over at KTVB.COM.
And PPS: After Race for the Cure I was standing behind my dad downtown today at the Saturday Market with a KTVB vest on when my dad (a former radio guy) said “hi” to none other than Bob Rosenthal. I was uncharacteristically quiet…

I always thought K.J. would make a great tv sports guy. Then every Friday he could let “The Rev” do the show. That’s a blast from the past, I may be one of only about five or six left alive that remember “The Rev”.

I remember the Rev…He was a big part of the show at KGEM, in fact he had much more talent than KJ.

Yes Doug that is true, but I think we both will agree the real talent on that show was Mr. Al! By the way I hope you are feeling better. For thoes not in the know Doug is going through kemo treatment for cancer. Take care big guy, you are in my prayers!

Let me add my best wishes Doug, I didn’t know. Having just come thru some nasty medical problems myself I can understand what you’re going through. Let me know how I can help.

KJ was on the stage at the Morrison Center on Saturday night as well. With Dee Sarton and Tony Bennett. He did a great job, but once again was the least talented person involved :)
