Who is House?

Don Day | May 20, 2008

Seen on Franklin Rd….

Maybe it’s just a very clever promo for this guy’s show on Fox:

Who is House? Hooker is House!

Well, we know “who’s house” it isn’t: an English major’s house!

Could Boise be adding the PK’s Playhouse Show, just detached from “Jammin 95-5″/Rose City Radio and added to “Jammin 107-5″ in Portland, Ore. ?

I think I was too coy. The proper usage is “Whose House?” Not “Who’s House.” It’s a nice 10 foot tall typo.

Unless …. they want to ask, “Who is House?” Then, what they posted is correct. But if they want to know who the house belongs to, then “Whose House?” is correct.
“Whose” is the possessive form of “who”, and “who’s” is a contraction of “who is”.

When the Kiss morning show answers the phone they always say “Who’s House?” The the listener replies “Hooker’s House”

Oh dear lord, it sounds like I’m going to have to go on a rant again about actually taking the time to proofread your copy…

Or, maybe this is just the end-result of DIY advertising.

    *agrees with Jac*

Sorry about earlier, I didn’t realize they answered with “Whose HOUSE?!?” on the show there when they take calls.

I saw the grammatical error as well. Then I didn’t really clarify.

Boise’s first 24-hr. House music station, perhaps? All Technotronic… All The Time! Pump Up The Jam, Pump It Up…
