Larry Doss: Cancer survivor
Don Day | June 23, 2008
As part of KJOT’s effort to raise awareness & cash for prostate cancer – Journal news guy and KTHI/107.1 K-Hits host Larry Doss talked about his own fight with the disease. Doss shared a powerful story about his journey a bit ago – and we’re happy to note that he’s beat it!
Update: KTVB’s coverage of the radiothon here. (KIVI’s coverage isn’t online)
Congratulations to Larry on his victory. It’s a powerful story, incredibly inspiring. Kudos!
Good to know that familar voice and personallity will be around for some time to come in the future… Way to go Larry!
Larry’s one of the good guys in the business.
Way to go Larry, I know it wasn’t easy.
Yeah, what The said……
Larry Doss and I were on-air radio partners a coupla’ years ago at KFXD, Bozo, Idaho. Actually, it was our FM station upon which we worked I think. (Maybe it was more than a coupla’ years.)
Pass along my congrats to a great guy and co-worker.

Mr. Doss,
Congratulations on the recovery and God bless.
Buster. :)
Wow! I was just sitting here and decided to Google a few names from the past and here you are. And I am delighted that “are” is the operative word! Thank the Lord! I trust you still have “The Voice”? I am also pleased to see that our old bud Doug Raper has checked in, too.
Best,
