Tester, Dzuback broadcast Stampede

Former Tester Broadcasting CEO Dave Tester and current Impact Radio Group sales guy Wayne Dzuback have teamed up to broadcast the Snake River Stampede rodeo this week. The Idaho Press Tribune reports the pair are doing the call on KTMB/99.1 The Man - and a couple of AM stations.

“I secretly want to be a rodeo announcer,” Tester said, “I want to be (Stampede announcer) Bob Tallman, so I have to think up ways to do it.”

If I remember correctly, Dave Tester got his start broadcasting rodeos as a teenager. Going back to his roots I guess. :)

Seems perfectly natural to me for someone who can be seen driving around in a station vechicle SUV with STEER HORNS on it….

    Gotta Love it.

If those are bull horns, watch out for Jesse Jackson. It could be a steer afterwards.

Interesting enough, about a week ago, I was sorting through all the thousands of options on Shoutcast via my Winamp player and all of the sudden, I saw a stream labeled “Snake River Stampede.” I started listening to it, and heard “The Man.” I wonder if this means “The Man” will be streamed there on a regular basis?

Well, they have to find a listener base somewhere might as well be on the internet….that is where my listening habits have migrated too….probably a good decision for the Man as well.
