Hey Dale... yeah, its been that long.

"On The Rock" was actually on 92.3 Kiss-Fm (KIYS). Jerry Long (Jerry Knight) originally started it, and I took it over in 1986 until I went to KF95 in 1989. Good times. I'll never forget the Stryper concert you promoted back then. LOL

Dave, has it been that long? I remember "On The Rock" with Dave Arthur on Sunday Mornings when I was opening my dad's restaurant in Baker. I would tune into KSPD (When I could get it) and listen to the latest CCM tunes.

GREAT MEMORIES FRIEND!

Keep it up,

Today is one of those days I wish I could pick up the phone and call Lee and tell him thank you one more time... it was 25 years ago today that I flipped the plate switch ON at 6am to turn on the transmitter and began this career in radio. I'm forever thankful to him for giving me that first job.

Lee gave me my first real, full-time job in radio. I was in college and the guy ahead of me shared he had just quit his job. We struck up a conversation and he said I should apply, so we went to the station and five minutes after walking in the door I had a job, a show and my career path was struck. I'll always be thankful for the opportunity Lee gave me, he was a good man.

Art,
I met Lee when we were freshmen together at NNC and your recollection of him is very consistent with mine. He traded me time in his studio for doing some ads for him. We did this for a "school year" and it was a great time. He was always very helpful and most encouraging.
