"On The Rock" was actually on 92.3 Kiss-Fm (KIYS). Jerry Long (Jerry Knight) originally started it, and I took it over in 1986 until I went to KF95 in 1989. Good times. I'll never forget the Stryper concert you promoted back then. LOL Hey Dale… yeah, its been that long.

I'm forever thankful to him for giving me that first job. I was in college and the guy ahead of me shared he had just quit his job. We struck up a conversation and he said I should apply, so we went to the station and five minutes after walking in the door I had a job, a show and my career path was struck. He traded me time in his studio for doing some ads for him. We did this for a "school year" and it was a great time. He was always very helpful and most encouraging. Art,
