Tooker out at KZMG
Don Day | October 23, 2008KZMG/Magic 93.1 and Dan Tooker have parted ways according to a memo sent to staff. The circumstances aren’t known, and the memo doesn’t make it clear if the parting of ways was amicable. His bio and picture are still all over KZMG.com and DanTooker.com is still active.
The move is blamed on the economy – and the need to scale back.
(Yes, I’m erratic… it’s like an addicition to smoking. You know it’s bad for you but want to take a drag when you smell secondhand smoke. Radio news is my secondhand smoke.)
That really, really sucks! The man helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for needy in the area and this is the thanks he gets? This a big red sign that reads, “Stay out of the Boise market if you want job security!” I hope they tank!
They already have…that is why the changes…
I listened to his show a few times. He has a nice personality, but he wasn’t all that funny.
Glad to hear, the morning show was horrible!
PJ Stover from KQFC was also among the people let go from on air yesterday. She was great they made a big mistake letting her go I hope someone else will hire her soon. That sucks

It isn’t limited to Boise. It’s the same story all across America in the radio biz.
Sucks to here a fellow jock go down. But he was rather mediocre.
My second-hand smoke is first-hand smoke.
