Morning show rakes in $5k for charity

Don Day | December 16, 2008

KCHQ/Q-102’s morning show raised $5,000 for E. Idaho children in a few short hours last week.  The station’s “Q Morning Crew” helped raise the money for Sub for Santa – which will help give toys to children in need this Christmas throughout the area.  Station PD Charlie Michaels helped organize the event after the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program ran out of toys – and aimed to give toys to about 450 kids
