Valentines for soldiers
Don Day | January 25, 2009KIZN/Kissin 92.3 and KZMG/Magic 93.1 are asking listeners to use a little TLC and make valentines for Idaho troops serving overseas. The stations are asking listeners to make valentines and send them to the station by the end of this week. The packages will be shipper overseas in time for Cupid’s favorite day. KIZN’s done this before and is hoping to expand the effort this year.
Thats a nice effort. Every thought is appreciated by our loved ones in that far away land. If another station is considering a promo involving the troops I would suggest having them orgainze sending the troops stuff they can use each day…like gloves, DVD’s etc…A list of acceptable items can be had by the USO etc, Might be a away of doing a Memorial Day promo….
