Mudvayne is the headliner for the annual X Fest event – this year set for August 18th at the Idaho Center. KQXR/100.3 The X puts on the yearly show – and in addition to Mudvayne, Bury Your Dead, Dope, Static X and Black Label Society.
Well considering we have had both singles from the record in power, I would say that is supporting the new Mudvayne Album. Long before the show came to life, but I am thinking we need to get Don a VIP ticket so we can get him to a show.
Looks like ‘Doc Brown’ has once again shown the problems of time travel by revealing the side effect of long term memory loss. Sorry dude, but “Do What You Do” came ready for airplay in September. We were playing it. But enjoy those other stations – from what I’ve heard, they get songs in EVEN BEFORE THE BANDS MAKE THEM. They have some sort of ‘flux capacitor’, or something.
I don’t really want to get into a pissing match on IRN, so I will make this my last comment on this strain regardless of the next few comments, but Doc Brown….short of name calling you have no idea what your talking about! “Do What You Do” was not a month late, and please please listen to Sirus..errrr online to some much better Active Rock Station!
“Do What You Do” hit the real rock stations all over the US in April. The X didn’t add that song for a full month after the real rock stations starting playing it. J, You didn’t add that song until late May.
Correction: “Do What You Do” should be “Scarlet Letters” in my previous post…”Do What You Do” was made available in Sept. 2008 followed by “Scarlet Letters” in April.
Don, I know how much you love Mudvayne. Can we expect to see you at the show? Tickets are only $35…(shameless promotion?)
Too bad “The X” doesn’t really play much Mudvayne until they decide to bring them to town.

Big J, maybe “Doc Brown” recently travelled “Back to the Future” and didn’t realize that we’ve been playing Mudvayne for a while.
If you don’t get that joke, I don’t want to know you.
Great Scott, Marty!
The X only added “Do What You Do” about a month late. Missed “The Buzz” on that one, huh guys?
“Scarlet Letters” is now in heavy current roatation, I can see that.
I have a lot of better stations to listen to than The X…but I do give you guys credit for trying.
I’m just not very impressed.

What are you talking about? They play too much Mudvayne IMO. (Yes, sorry, but I’m not a huge Mudvayne fan.)
Is there any possibility of getting GWAR for XFest in the future? They are intergalactic rockstars, you know.
